Customer Reviews

Way cool now...5 I got lucky and won a copy of Bejeweled 2 and it has many more ways to play it compared to the first version. The colors are great and help make the game lots of fun. They have even given the game some new twists for reaching certain scores. In my case I unlocked a new way to play the original version of the game when I reached 200,000 points. It is called Twilight and gives the illusion of no gravity for the jewels. They are added to the playing area from either the top or the bottom. It can and will help kill plenty of time. Great Game!5 I was anxious to upgrade to the new Bejeweled 2. I first downloaded the free trial and the 60 free minutes went way too fast. After purchasing the unlock key online I have logged over 100 hours playing since November, it's that addictive! The four different versions of the game (classic, puzzle, action and endless) all have bonus versions that unlock when you reach specific levels. For Classic, it's level 20 and for Action it's level 9. The Endless level criteria is somewhere over level 200 but I haven't reached that one yet. This is a great game, if you liked Bejeweled you will love Bejeweled 2! Great fun and highly addictive -- beware!5 I downloaded Bejeweled 2 Deluxe from the web site and dove in. I couldn't pull myself away from the screen for hours. The graphics are gorgeous, and the game is great fun to play. You can size the board to fill your whole screen or just a part of it. When you put the game in full-screen mode you can also put the graphics in high-rez, but I've found the graphics look fine on the smaller screen. You can turn the music up, down or off; ditto the sound effects. I find the music kind of distracting, but the sound effects are fun, especially the BOOM when you explode a power gem. There are 4 different games you can play -- the classic game, the timed action game where you beat the clock, the puzzle game where you clear all the jewels and the neverending game that goes on and on and on. My best score on the classic game so far is 150,041 points, but the first time I played the timed action game I scored 506,800. Hoo-boy, I'm a Superior Gemologist! (What are all the levels anyway, does anybody know?) Bejeweled 2 Deluxe is a fun way to spend an hour or so, but beware -- it's extremely addictive. Playing it in the office is not advisable. It's blocked on my office computer anyway, and it's probably just as well. If I could play it in the office, I probably wouldn't have a job any more. Judy Lind
