Ergo it is!5 I am a bit of a mouse junkie, I have purchased about 10 mice/trackball in the last 2 years. I am in search of the best and most usable mouse for work. I am on the computer 12+ hours a day most of the week. I will rank this mouse a close #1 for these: 1. Very lite, easy to move. 2. Excellent angle, not as upright as the "Evoluent VM3R2-RSB Vertical Mouse 3" which I also have in my arsenal of mouse. 3. The back and forward buttons are easily reachable with the thumb. 4. Easy to click. 5. Thumb area has a hook area where your thumb can sit which the Evoluent doesn't have is a great plus+ 6. The mouse look nice, perfect blend of shiny and dull rubbery areas for better control. 7. Overall feeling of my hand and arm don't feel tired after a full days use, that is very important to me. The mouse feels like it should be held with a full palm, but my hand is too big and misses the buttons, therefore this is the only downside, I have found a position that is comfortable and doesn't set the side of my hand scraping the desk (like the Evoluent did). One note: This is my true #1 input device: Kensington Turboring which has been discontinued & mine broke is the best trackball I have used. I wish Kensington made it again. My thumb was rarely used which I believe can cause most of the strain on the hand and arm. UPDATE: After 1 year of use, the mouse is still my daily driver. I tried a different mouse (3M Ergo which was a fail). The mouse still works great, the only downside after 1 year of use is the scroll wheel now makes a squeaking sound when used, not unbearable but can get annoying if the room is quiet. I love this mouse!!!5 I draft upwards of 6 hours per day and began experiencing tingling in my wrist. I tried various wrist rests and a special mouse pads to no avail. This mouse is wonderful and a great value at less than half the price of similar items. It has greatly reduced my wrist discomfort; when combined wrist stretches, my symptoms are completely alleviated. I would recommend to everyone! Good but not great4 The angle is great. I use with mouse rest and it feels right. Its a little small, but I am use to using a smaller mouse. The main draw back is on mine the click pressure is high it gives a loud click and you know you clicked because you have to push it hard, like now its time to click if you follow me. For a ergo mouse a feather click would have been great. No drivers needed all buttons work. I am using two mice at one time now, no problem. I may click with left hand on old mouse and guide on right hand with new mouse. Or get a track ball for left hand. The main problem is most keyboard drawers do not give the room for that set up. Maybe the click will loosen up? I hope so, as the click sends a "message" through my wrist I am not liking at the moment. 11-29-09 update. The click is a little better now, I still give 4 stars because of click.
