Customer Reviews

A Mortimer Beckett Fan5 I loved this game along with the other two Mortimer Beckett Computer games...Spooky Manor and Time Paradox. This one plays very similar to the first two. The level of difficulty is not difficult, but very fun and relaxing. All the Mortimer Becket games are on the moderate level of difficulty. My fifteen year old played it as well and loved it. My seven and four year old can also play this with my assistance. We enjoy playing this game together. I recommend The Lost King, along with the other two Mortimer Beckett CD Rom's, as fun computer entertainment for the whole family. There are only eight chapters in The Lost King, which is my only complaint. I wish all the Mortimer Becketts were longer. I didn't take any stars off my rating for this since I really enjoyed those eight chapters. I hope there is another Mortimer Beckett in the making! Disappointed3 The sound track is terrible and so annoying that I had to turn off the sound. It sounded like someone with really bad stuttering problems. It did not affect the game so that was ok. The game itself was not the best that I've played but enjoyable.
