Customer Reviews

Super Mort Strikes Again5 With Mortimer you get more bang for your buck! Not merely a run-of-the-mill seek-and-find but, one that requires you to use the found item in a specific way in order to move on to the next level. Fun, clever, and just complex enough to keep you interested and thinking. Gorgeous graphics, delightful game play!5 Mortimer finds himself in a stunning fantasy kingdom called Zantya where the king has disappeared along with the jewel- encrusted crown which gave him special powers. Usurping the throne is a black-bearded villain named Cedric Syper. Of course the good-hearted Mortimer will help the local denizens get back their king, his crown and the crown jewels which are scattered everywhere. He has to collect them one by one. In the game's eight chapters you'll encounter a rich variety of characters from cagey long-bearded alchemists to a marvelous princess-mermaid to a little boy who doesn't like having his picture taken. And you'll be swished into the sea from a flying airship, talking to fairies nestled on gorgeous pink mushrooms, feeding a kitten a bowlful of milk, mixing up magical potions and much more. You can move around wherever you like which gives the game fluidity and you a sense of freedom. You have a specific list of inventory objects pictured at the bottom of the page some of which are employed in solving puzzles or returned to where the belong. In one instance you have to find a balloon and a needle, then blow the balloon up with a pipe leaking air, then prick the balloon with the needle. The loud pop wakes up a judge snoozing next to his gavel and he signs a document for you. You have to use your ingenuity, the tasks are quirky and varied and hard enough for adults to enjoy, but play with your kid, you'll both be enchanted! The cut scenes showing Mortimer bouncing along, cheerfully making his way around the kingdom of Zantya are delightful. "The lost king" was put together with great skill and dedication and love. The ending is gonna surprise you and it's just right! If you love Mortimer, this game is a must! no skip button3 I purchased this game on the
reviews of all others..they where all correct
beautiful, fun, not to
hard, not to easy ...puzzles worth thinking and playing..
But when
the puzzles don't work..there is no skip button so your dead in the
water,can't
move...which is where i am now, have the answer but can't make
puzzle work.. and no skip..oh well will try again ...
