Customer Reviews

Misleading Advertising1 While this page advertises the original edition of the game complete with multiplayer, what BLS Mart actually sends out is the "Sold Out Software" edition that is completely lacking in multiplayer. I'd suggest buying the game used instead of purchasing a stripped-down version falsely advertised as being the full game. Decent game but, false advertising2 Empire Earth II would be a five star game except that it has fairly bad performance issues on newer computers. I am running a Core i7 920 with a HD 5870 and during a 10 player skirmish (1000 unit pop cap) on a gigantic map, I often had to run the game speed at 20-50% to bring the lag down to managable levels. These performance problems drop its rating down to four star. I rated it two stars is because, as dark elf 2319 pointed out, this game says right on the back "Single Player only." The multiplayer components of the game are, in fact, disabled. That right there takes a lot of the replay value of the game and add to it the fact that it is not properly labeled as such above, it drops down to the 1-2 star category. If the multiplayer component of the game was the primary reason for looking at it (as it was with me), definitely stay away from this copy. It is a good game otherwise. Not as good at EE1 but not bad4 I liked the game play in EE1 better, but the graphics are better in this one
